Voting has finally opened for the Very Merry Totally Not Secret Santa Christmas Fanart Contest!

This was the second ever Christmas themed Totally Spies fanart contest in TSUG's ten year history! This holly jolly contest challenged contestants to create fanart of TS characters exchanging gifts at a Christmas party being thrown by Mandy. Just to recap, here is the short story that was used as a contest prompt:

Sam, Clover and Alex were busy decorating their quite large but also quite plastic Christmas tree in the living room of their spacious dorm penthouse. Everyone was in a very festive mood, that mood complimented by Ricky Mathis’s Christmas album playing in the background and the low carb vegan Christmas cookies Clover had baked for them to snack on while they decorated. As Sam and Clover wrapped the tree with Christmas lights and garland, Alex, sporting a fluffy red Santa hat, was on a ladder leaning over the tree in an attempt to place a golden star tree topper on its apex.

Finally, she got it on the top branch but then stared at it, unhappy with how crooked it was. “Just need to move it a little bit more.”

As she leaned over on the ladder to readjust the star, she knocked over a round glass ornament from a branch that then fell on to one of the rungs of the ladder below her. “There!” she said, happy that the star was no longer crooked.

She then began stepping down the ladder, and her foot stomped right on top of the ornament. “Eeeee!” Alex yelped in pain as the glass cracked under her green and red sock. She then tripped forward, falling off of the ladder, and tackled the tree in midair.

“Timber!” Alex cried, trying to warn her friends. But it was too late, the tree crashed down on top of both Clover and Sam. After Sam and Clover clawed their way out from under the jumbled mess, they said nothing and simply scowled at Alex with utter disdain. “Sorry, guys!” Alex said before laughing nervously.

The awkward moment was suddenly interrupted by the door bell. “I’ll get it,” Sam volunteered as she brushed a red strand of garland from off of her shoulders and un-wrapped some Christmas lights from around her waist. When she opened the front door, all she saw was a small envelope on the ground.

Sam opened it and read it as Clover and Alex, both quite curious, gathered behind her.

Dear Losers… I mean Sam, Clover and Alex,

You are hereby invited to my Christmas party on December the 23rd, the greatest Christmas party since the one with baby Jesus and the donkeys and junk. Bring gifts. Also, don’t wear anything too disgustingly tacky. I’m talking to you, Clover!

“You have to be kidding me!” Clover screeched. “Call Mandy and tell her we’re not going! Tell her we’re going to be in the North Pole! I don’t care! Tell her anything!”

“Ummm, Mandy also sent a text,” Alex explained as a big bead of sweat rolled down the side of her head, “and I kind of replied and said we were going.”

“Alex!” Clover and Sam both shouted.

“Sorry, I just really love Christmas and parties and Christmas parties! I wasn’t thinking! Besides, how bad can Mandy’s party be?”

“Guess we should look for something to buy Mandy,” Sam said, lightly blushing at the thought of personally giving her a present.

“The only thing I’m going to give Mandy is my foot straight up her ass!” Clover screamed.

For this contest, three fantastic fanart entries were produced!

To vote and help determine the winners of this contest, please send your filled out ballot to me, Ghidra, via private message. This way, you can vote for who you want privately. Once voting has closed, I will tally all the ballots.

1st through 3rd place will then be determined by whoever receives the most points.

Guess not many people are visiting the site to vote. I was hoping it'd end around Christmas, but will be patient.

Regarding the Cruise contest that started last summer, can that end around Valentine's Day? The theme goes well with it.

It's my fault this time for these contests dragging on too much. I promise there will be a resolution for this one in the near future. I also won't make the mistake of holding more than one contest at a time. Doing two to three simultaneously was pretty stupid. I may try to get some more entries for the summer contest though after I finish with this one.
