On Tuesday, we were to Petsmart and I wasn't paying attention when my middle finger on my left hand got caught in the car door. It hurt like hell. I have fresh band-aids on my "cut." I have since learned my lesson and I want you all to learn from what I did. Keep your fingers away the car doors. DO NOT go through my pain. Okay?

It doesn't hurt anymore but that has to be the worst pain ever.

Sorry, I just can't help it. I keep picturing you getting your finger stuck in the car door, screaming like hell before falling to the ground, your finger pressed inside your unharmed hand, this hand itself pressed between your legs as you desperately try to ease the pain.

It's the kind of dumb accident that happens to all of us at one point (well, maybe not a car door, but something similar), so don't you worry, you're not alone. I once crushed my thumb between the house's door and door frame. Really. Intense. Pain. Also caught my whole hand into a car door like you once, but surely the pain wasn't as close as what you experienced. The palm of the hand can take much more abuse than a single finger before pain appears. It still hurt a lot.

Oh, and most important, I've learned a valuable lesson, here. I will take great care not to let my fingers wander unchecked near closing car doors. Thanks for sharing.

Thought we could use this opportunity to share about similar accidents we had, though. Maybe a What was the most intense pain you ever got through? or Share the dumb accidents you were involved in thread is the appropriate, next step to this post?

Its smaller now than it was last week. One day part of the scab came off then rest of it. Dad said the scab did its job. There was a 'ring' around the wound and that came off too. I can feel around the big wound but not where the small one was. Its healing nicely and that makes me happy.

Okay, I wanted to get back to you guys about this. I have feeling back in my knuckle which been around for a long while now. I thought I was going to have nerve damage there forever. The cut itself is gone now but there's a little mark where the wound was.

Wow... That's a nice bump you have, there.

That'll probably remain visible for the rest of your life. Just like the accidental cuts I had on my wrist and knuckles are still visible today (some more than 25 years old, LoL).

But at least, you can feel your knuckle again, which means it's completely healed (with remaining visible damage, though).

Glad to hear that you are almost healed although I can't see the picture. can't do anything with the marks. I also have loads from my previous injuries. I just call these marks as my remnants from war although my mum is irritated with it.

But at least, you can feel your knuckle again, which means it's completely healed (with remaining visible damage, though).

It can be added to my wound on my chin from bouncing on the bed when I was super young. (I probably learned my lesson from that moment on.) I can always use it as a teaching tool on other kids.

Mum is addicted with having flawless skin which is quite an impossible feat considering the number of accidents I've been through. The worse one would have been getting a big bruise in my thigh and then the left side of my belly got wounded pretty bad. In addition, my right arm got wounded as well after shielding my face from tripping in a cemented pathway. Lol. Gave me a hard time to walk and sit for two weeks and my body got lots of bandages like those you can see in the anime. The rest of my accidents would be falling from the stairs. Most of the time, I never got any help so I kinda used to standing up on my own despite my injuries even if I was walking bleeding or my muscles went sore like nothing happened unless if some friends of mine are around they will help me instantly.
