Well, I was just browsing my Facebook feed trying to forget my depression, and boy did I forget about it as I just found out that Marathon Media are producing the fourth season of Martin Mystery... FECK YEAH!!!!

Dat pretty much sums it up. There is something about zombies and monsters in general, TS Halloween episode had these and it worked great, i d welcome more Martin Mystery like TS episodes.

They were working on season 3 of TS and the first 2 Martins around the same time. That was such a good year when they both started coming out. Fuck, I miss 2004-05. Marathon crushing it back then.
Here's hoping 2013-14 is as stronk.

So I actually sent justin a list of recommended episodes, and thought "Hey, ima post em here too"

I went down the ep list on Wikipedia for this one, so some eps might be in different seasons from the broadcast order. But this is what I'd recommend, after 10 years of following this show:

Season 1
-It Came from the Bog (classic first ep. Boogeyman good design as well)
-It Came from Inside the Box (Twin Peaks!)
-Eternal Christmas (an Xmas special I actually like. Maybe THAT is the scariest thing)
-Return of the Dark Druid (I actually don't think they aired this in the US. Maybe a child getting possessed is too spooky?)
-Nightmare of the Coven (GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS)
-Haunting of the Blackwater (any time the show takes a cue from a classic movie, it's usually pretty good)
-Fright from the Ice (interesting creature design, and good Diana expressions)
-Return of the Beasts (an origin story? In my Marathon? Also an attempt at the source materials main antagonist)
-Summer Camp Nightmare (good ep, bonus Diana in skirt for the whole thing)

Season 2
-They Came from Outer Space (2-parter, origin story, best fucking monster designs)
-Attack of Slime People (slightly eerie "it can happen in my small town" feel)
-You Do Voodoo (rebel Diana <3. And Deep South US)
-Monster Movie Mayhem (a favorite of mine since it explored Martin's immediate surroundings. Then season 3 did that almost entirely. Still fun ep)
-They Came From the Gateway (another good two parter. Lots of MOM doin stuff)

Season 3
-Attack of the Evil Roommate (Dianas everywhere. I also liked some of the dialogue in this one)
-Wrath of the Torrington Worm (Dad feels. Great ep)
-Night of the Scarecrow (A farm ep that was pretty fun)
-House of Zombies (takes a page from Evil Dead. Also MOM-tastic)
-Journey into Terrorland (a fun ep with Jenny in it through out)

Just finished watching all the eps. of S.1-3 on YouTube today. So glad I decided to!
3-16 (Djini) was deleted from the person's playlist, but thankfully was posted by someone else (bad sound/picture, but hey).
Really enjoy Marathon's work; art, animation, characters, settings, humor, action, etc.
I know they're not perfect: end of S.2 reminded me of TS S.5 end- not transitioning to next season right.
But as an artist/animator, I love TS & now MM so much.
is one of my fav characters, and the Canadian Academy setting was so good!

Not sure if S.4 was made or is being translated/brought over.
If not, I'll be OK. Now I'm considering watching Team Galaxy for more Marathon art/animation goodness.

I'm hooked on Marathon art/animation & have started watching Team Galaxy now. It's more kid-oriented; there's a young kid main character along with the two teens, but the art/animation is fantastic & I just enjoy looking at all the hard work they've done.

I'm hooked on Marathon art/animation & have started watching Team Galaxy now. It's more kid-oriented; there's a young kid main character along with the two teens, but the art/animation is fantastic & I just enjoy looking at all the hard work they've done.

The one thing you should know about Martin Mystery is Marathon doesn't actually own the IP (at least I would assume so). It was an Italian comic book decades before it was a cartoon. So that may be a reason why it's not being brought back or has been overlooked for other projects.

Oh yeah, I knew the origin of the show when I looked it up on Wiki before starting it, thanks.
Finding music is nearly impossible when it's not on YT & the studio just doesn't care to share.
Still, I'm up to ep. 10 of Galaxy, and I'm loving the art, animtion & some of the music.
Including a song with silly turntables (similar to MM) in ep.5. Lookin' forward to watching more of TG.
