Hey ya'll, so I thought I'd share that I've had pretty lackluster eyesight for awhile and I recently made the decision to go ahead LASIK eye surgery done. I had the procedure done on Thursday and I'm recovering now, which is mainly just taking a lot of eye drops and just being careful with my eyes. So... yeah, I'm pretty happy about my new, improved vision. I can finally read things from a distance without straining and on top of all that, I'm also noticing a big change in colors and textures of everyday things I had no idea I'd see a difference in. I couldn't get contacts to work out for me and I never liked the idea of glasses, so I decided to shoot for LASIK and I'm glad that I finally got it done. I'm enjoying the outcome a lot. smile.gif

I'm glad your vision is better, Stasis! Me, my eyesight is pretty good, but I have floaters now. O__O I'm kind of worried about anything that involves lasers though regarding the long term impact.

I've heard nothing but great reviews from that procedure. I'm so glad you're happy, Metro! Wishing you a speedy recovery and a great rest of your life seeing the world through better peepers biggrin.gif

Great news, Metro! I hope you can soon enjoy the pleasure of a 20/10 vision without the eye drops! smile.gif

Being a photographer, I'll consider the Lasik as well when the time comes...

Thanks guys! Fortunately the recovery process isn't particularly lengthy or tiring, so I couldn't be happier with this investment at the moment. It couldn't have come at a better time either, with me starting back at university in a week. No more straining to see the board for me! tongue.gif
