And maybe it's completely bogus, but-

Hey, it's worth asking, right? A new topic!
So if this is official info from the show's creators- wow, what a find.

If not, oh well- figured I'd try. whistle.gif

Those sound like fan names. It's even worse that they don't list Jerry's name despite it appearing in more than one script. The last names I heard mostly use references to other things:

Clover Ewing (reference to the Dallas soap opera)
Alex Vasquez (Aliens character, other Aliens references are in different episodes as well)
Sam Simpson (possible reference to the Simpsons, this was used in one episode but as an alias)
Mandy Luxe (seems to be a pun)
Jerry Lewis (the actor/comedian/singer)

David's last name I don't know about, but he's supposed to be David Michel.

These are based on second hand information and posts from elsewhere, but I would probably bet on them being closer to accurate than that website.

Ok, I'd heard those names you mentioned before as well.
Interesting reasoning for those names you gave and that the name Simpson is even given in an episode.
Sloan might be the fake name given in Do You Believe in Magic?- but that's one I might watch out of curiousity next w/the kids I nanny.
Thanks for the info.

A pun about the fact that "Mandy", in french, looks like "mendie", which is the verb "begging" or it is an other pun ?

I think if you combine the sound of the last part of her first name with her last name, it comes out as "deluxe." It might refer to Mandy's haughty, superior attitude and her rich background. Deluxe usually indicates an expensive luxury item.

Interesting info on the French translation.
