Due to the suggestion of one of our members, I've decided to hold a Belated Valentine's Day Fanfiction Contest to go along with the fanart one. Here are the rules: 1. Your fanfic must contain romance between two characters. 2. One of the characters must be from Totally Spies. Other wise, you can put whatever characters you want together (even same sex couples), as stated in Policy 13 of the Teh Rules: http://tsug.net/index.php?showtopic=97 3. You must have written this story yourself. 4. I want stories written specifically for this contest. I don't think just posting a fanfic you wrote months or years ago that just happens to include a TS couple takes a lot of work 5. Your fanfiction should follow the Fanfiction Policy which is Rule 7 of Teh Rules: http://tsug.net/index.php?showtopic=97 Remember, this is a 13 and up forum, but not an 18 and up one. 6. Try to include good English grammar, as well as good sentence and paragraph structure. I'm not going to play an English teacher here, but one of the things you will be judged on is effort. Submitting something with very sloppy grammar doesn't show a lot of effort. 7. All entries must be written in English, because that's the only language I can read well, and I will probably be the one judging them. 8. Poetry will not be accepted right now, but I plan on doing poetry contests in the future. You can submit your fanfics by posting them to this thread, posting them in another thread or website and linking to them, or saving them as a MS Word or Notepad file and attaching them to this thread. A winner will only be announced after I think there have been enough entries, but I will set a dead-line eventually to make sure it's fair. The winner will receive the following fabulous prizes: 1. You will have your fanfic announced as the winner and linked to on the front news page. If I ever get around to making a TS fanfiction archive (something I want to do), I will also note you as the contest winner. 2. You will receive a medal that will go below your avatar in your posts. 3. You will receive an apocryphal gift-certificate for one free trial at Arrow Through the Heart Dating Experience's match-making booth at the Beverly Hills Mall. There will also be 2nd and 3rd place winners, however they will not receive medals to go under their avatars. Thank you ahead of time for all entries! |

Thanks, Astral. Although, I decided I don't want to enter. I'm afraid I would win becuase of who I am, and I don't want to win it ether. Maybe you can still help me with judging though. I'm going to start writing TS romance fics again, I don't know why I took such a long hiatus.  And come on people, get to work on those stories! |

Maybe I can have multiple judges and we can vote on it. And I just started a new TS yuri one, but god knows when it's going to be ready for people to read. I also heard someone in the contest is using the same couple as me. Maybe I'll make a sepparate contest so we can duel against eachother.

It isn't I'm not working on the fanfic, I just want my data to be as close to reality as possible. That involves a lot of research and time. But it's going somewhere, it definitely is. I know how it's going to end, but it needs some more meat around the bones. Prequel: Press conference by the new Rover company, introducing their F1 team. The Rover company PLC is proud to present its F1 formula car and team. Thanks to the W corporation who got our company up and running again, we can foresee a new future for British cars and racing. The Rover company has been known to produce fine cars and we will show that our new racing car is top notch. Our pilot, the first female F1 pilot to win a GP, is eager to race with our new baby. Instead of the empire green our cars usually supported, we willingly let her choose the new yellow scheme our cars will be painted in for the next season. I introduce to you the young lady driver *the sound is completely lost by the noise of camera's and reporters*. I thank you ladies and gentlemen of the press and invite you to the buffet and bar. |

As I am currently writing the 12th chapter and I foresee to be able to round it all up in the near future. I'll start publishing the story under it's title: A long lost love. I hope you'll all enjoy reading it a lot more then I had researching and writing it.   ,  ,   ,

That near future, might take more time then I thought as I'm on chapter 21 presently and I know where I'm going, but not there yet. A short time line of what was published. Summer 2012 : Alex starts racing spring 2013 : Jerry get murdered, funeral. 12 february 2015 : 12h35 Departure of Clover and Mandy; 13h** Alex confessed; 15h** Quest for Donna; 17h00 Woohp & Terry ; 18h** Departure Sam & Alex  13 february 2015 : 09h00 Sam & Alex arrive in Edinburgh; 10h00 Sam & Alex captured; during the day Sam gets tortured, Alex sleeps drugged out. 14 february 2015 :

I just grasped I'm telling a wrong time tale. 12th February is Pacific Daylight Time, but 13th February is British Summer Time (PDT + 8 hours) I'll try to be more specific in the future.
