LOL. See No Evil starring Kane. I saw that movie (but refused to see Cena's). Pretty terrible movie, but sorta funny in some parts becuase it was so bad. The only thing that barely interested me was the half-hearted attempt at a yuri subplot.

I'm sorry, HBK. There are Freddy movies I like and Jason movies like, but Jason vs. Freddy just sucked hardcore. They may as well have fought each other in a game of badminton or on opposing debate teams, that's how weak and disappointing that movie was. |

dont worry syxx... freddy vs jason is not that cool..due to the fact that no one won.. but i think it works out... also.. Jason X.. it makes me laugh my ass out when watching it, it's just funny.. although it suxs cause of jason's slow moving stunts

I didn't even see Jason X. Pretty much everything after the Final Chapter is crap. Not to mention that the series became even worse after New Line took it over. |

I only watched Halloween and the Thing from all that you guys mentioned. They are really good. I remember when I was kid I watched The Warlock (1989) in cinema and was really frightened (I don't remember when it was shown in Russia). But if you want to impress your friends with your knowledge of cult movies, I suggest you to get the ultimate soviet classic horror Viy (1967). It really scared me when I was younger. Of course, english translation kills all the specific features like ukrainian dialect and so on, but its really worth watching thing. Our bastards here dared to produce 2 remakes as I know (we experience now the same awful situation like in US when all old good classic films of the past era are being vandalized by new modern morons who dare to call themselves directors with their remakes and sequels), you should watch em only in case you're punished I think. |

Interesting, I'll have to look into that. I've seen Italian, Spanish, German, French, English, and even Belgian horror movies, but not Russian so far. The US DVD seems to be out of print though. |

Horror movies rule! I saw the original "Friday the 13th" from the early 80s starring B-rated actress Susan Blu, who later did cartoon voices and she did real stunts, such as the sense when Jason (slightly) cut her throat. She went on with vocal talents, instead of getting hurt in movies.

Susan Blu I think I recall her as Arcee from Transformers: the Movie. I wasn't aware she was in Friday the 13th. As for the movie, I'm not a huge fan of it. It's basically a rip-off of a Mario Bava film minus most of the style associated with his directing. Perhaps I need to watch it again, but I don't remember being that impressed. I don't think the series got any good until they brought in adult Jason in number 2. |

I have'nt seen that many to be honest, but probably the old black and white Dracula movie, oh my god! XD That was just hillarious! A rubber bat on strings! :roflmao: The Grudge was pretty good to cos I nearly shat myself watching it! It takes a really scary movie to do that to me! Shame my mum could only find the american remake And Fall Of The House Of Usher was a good one to, despite how old it was and the fact that there were only 4 actors in the intire film, it was still creapy and had an interesting story. I'd ljke to see turning of the screw though becuase I like the book and I've heard the movie was rather acurate to it (of course it was made in england )

No offence but the haunting was unbelievably cheasy, I mean the effects were really egsagerated, I only watched it cos I was bored and there was nothing else on. Obviously a made for family veiwing horror movie (although to be honest calling it a horror movie would probably be giving it to much credit )

Yeah, the 90's version of the Haunting was terrible. Putting a ton of lame CGI in something instead of trying to build atmosphere and mood is not the way to make a good ghost movie. They also lose points for cutting out the yuri, because the producers were cowards. |

God I know, I mean the bit at the very start with the moving heads on the fireplace was ok cos that was kinda creapy, but the rest was just a load of hyped up bullshit, and yeah it would be fun to watch with more lesbian action

If you think "Freddy vs. Jason" was the best cross-over horror movie (of course), how about "Alien vs. Predator"? I loved that one, to see natural enemies fight each other to death (both are very scary creatures). I was like "Mom! I wanna hide behind your back. Pppllleeeaaaassseeee? make the monsters go away!"
