So far all the songs seem to be about the following: 1. I work all day and nothing exciting happens in my life, but boy is life great! Lists things to validate hill-billy credentials including barns, tractors, cows, moonshine and people named "Mary Sue and Billy Joe." Apparently all country singers grew up on a stereotypical farm. 3. God rules! I'm going to go drink some moonshine and have sex in a barn now. This is God Country! Woooooooooooh! 4. Absolutely terrible remakes of previously half-decent non-country songs 5. I have a girl-friend/wife, she's good at sex and making apple pie. 6. War rules! If you're against war, you're a pansy and against God. God-bless war. 7. I got my wife/girlfriend pregnant and she had a child! (gives singer a cookie for doing the impossible, boy you're special) 8. Science is stupid. Look at your computer, you think science made that? You're wrong, it was God! God rules! 9. Remember 9/11 like we remember the Alamo, the best way to remember 9/11 is by kicking the ass of every country in the planet. That'll show those guys. Bush rules, because he's like God. God rules! Note, I wouldn't suggest all country is like this, but this is what plays on that XM station.
