This is my second TS, yuri fic. I started writing it a long time ago, but only got around to writing a new chapter recently. Hopefully, there's no more huge delays in updates like that. Anyways, please enjoy! Later Chapter 1 - A Blade in the Dark Chapter 2 - Chemistry Chapter 3 - Lost Time Chapter 4 - Normal Chapter 5 - A Cold Day in Hell Chapter 6 - A Spy for a Spy Chapter 7 - Purple and Green Chapter 8 - Date Night Chapter 9 - Along Came a Spider Chapter 10 - Flowers and a Funeral Tag-line: Something horrible happens to one of the most popular students of Beverly Hills High School. On ch. 4 right now. Gotta give you props J-syxx. I think the last fanfics I read for purposes other than MSTing were some of Leviathan's classics. I'm digging your overall writing style and all the detail in there.  And much love for "Coach Guile". :roflmao: Greatest background character EVER.(and a painful memory of the days when he was Clover's dad in my series  )Oh, while I'm thinking of it, did you pick Luxe for Mandy's last name? I'm trying to remember if you drafted it or if there was a rumor somewhere about it...been killing me for the last few months. |

Thanks for reading! Glad you're liking it so far. You should be in for a good surprise by the end of Chapter 6, Chpater 7 ever more so.  Chapter 8 should hopefully be coming some what soon, but I want to do this Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy Christmas fic I just got inspired to write today. And yeah, Luxe was the rumored last-name that was going around like a year or so ago, so I went with that. In the last fic though I used Delaroyale, which Leviathan came up with. He's pretty much the reason why I even started liking Mandy in the first place, so definitely a big influence on me in general. Also Dragonshadow wrote a number of great ones. And maybe Coach Guile is still Clover's dad, he's just been in hiding all these years.

I myself had LeRoyale for the first few years....forget if there was anything inbetween then and when I swapped to Luxe. For awhile Mandy had a little brother (that was basically a take off of Ness from Earthbound)....needless to say, he phased out with Guile somewhere around the time season 3 got here. Still keeping Masters as Sam's last name, though. The relation to Ken is distant enough to be safe, as is Britney's relation to Fatal Fury's Kim.  I just got to "asian, blue-haired beauty in her skin-tight, blue spy-suit."

Mezoroth's name is actually older than mine, if anything I ripped him off, though I don't know how that would be possible, as I came up with 'Delaroyale' before I went to TSHQ. |

I think we both thought around the same lines, because yeah, Mandy Is...well, Great. I was like, "Mandy is basically queen, and probably would have a french surname", so I tried to conjure one myself. I didn't really think too much about Mandy's heritage too much until very recently (really, the only one I ever thought about was Alex), but I've heard somethings about Spanish being in there. (I think from Leviathan, which where I think he got Delaroyale) Not a bad thought, since Spanish ladies are pretty sexy.  ...shit, I gotta go map it all out, especially since I've done some work with her dad and uncle and all that... It'll be an interesting mix.  Maybe Delaroyale is Pheobe's maiden name?

Well I came up with that name as a stab at guessing Mandy's ethnicity, she's pretty dark for a caucasian but not enough so as to be Arab. So Spanish or Portugese was what I decided on. |

I don't think Delaroyale is a real last name though, unless it's spelled differently or something. I tried googling it before, and the only thing that comes up is our fanfics. lol |

Also, props for Mandy's dad as a CEO for a cigarette company. I had him down for a lawyer type, but what you got is so much more....MANDY. :grin: (plus that really would net a lotta bills) While we're all swapping Mandy tidbits, I gotta say the backstory I have for him works even better with that occupation. Him an' his brother (re. Mindy's pop) are former syndicate 'handymen' that have made a shot at going clean after starting their respective families. Did a sketch of the 2 (circa the late 80s) awhile back, Mandy's dad being 'Steve'. Bascially, this is what comes out of me playing through GTA: Vice City.

I read your new chapter. Luxe Brand Cigarettes actually sounds like a real brand. I'd try it if I hadn't quit smoking. Mandy's 'adoption' of Britney (for lack of a better word) is both hawt and disturbing. I would like Britney to turn it around on Mandy though, Mandy's been ordering her around a bit too much for my tastes. |

Honestly, right now I'm considering quitting fanfiction. Got in an argument at a certain slash forum about another one of my fics. It makes me wonder if the reason why no one reviews some of my stuff is because they think it sucks, and they are being kind. Perhaps the person critiquing my stuff at the forum has higher standards than a lot of people, but I'm a perfectionist in my own mind and that shit is hard to hear. I put an ass load of work into writing these things, so I'm wondering whether or not I'm wasting my time. |
