What was the last CD you got? Maybe for birthday, Christmas, or just went n' bought it  Share here!  ----------------- Today I bought The Wrecker's CD, "Stand Still, Look Pretty"  OMG, I LOVE IT!!!!! :grin: They're way talented

Beastie Boys - The Mix Up (pretty good instrumental CD, especially if you liked their other instrumentals) Cage - Hell's Winter (pretty good CD, the song about the Iraqi war veteran was very poignant and banged hard) El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead (straight fire, the man is fucking genius and shut up a lot of naysayers with this one, a land mark hip hop album imo) |

My dad bought me a nightwish cd for my birthday in january, that's the last cd I bought, I don't like giving my money to souless money making music companys

Most of the new albums I buy are from Indy labels. They're not corporate, so the artists get more of the money. When I buy a Count Bass D album for instance I'm getting a better sense that buying that CD actually helped him put food on his table. So yeah support independent music by spending money on it. |

Just buy all your stuff from CDbaby.com. It's all indie and their prices are pretty good. They have plenty for less then $10. Also, I did not know that there was a new Thomas Dolby live album. WANT. |

I don't have cd's and stuff because I put music into my iPod. I don't really see a reason you'd buy a cd when you have an iPod or MP3. It would just be a waste of money wouldn't it? Still, the last cd I bought was for my friend. It was called Some Hearts I think? From Carrie Underwood? |

The last CD that I bought was like 4 years ago Special D. I never buy CD's cuz I always download my music on Limewire for my Ipod. And I agree with Lisannah Why buying expensive CD's if you can download the same songs for free  And most of the people use Ipod's and Mp3's now.

I buy an album, then I have it to listen to in the car radio, CD player, stereo, etc. Also, I can download the music onto my computer too So, CDs = Plenty of Use, they're not useless at all :grin: |

Unless you know, the CD has computer blocking software on it. Solutions? Buy indie or old CDs. I also do download what I buy, only because it's quicker and easier then ripping a CD. Hell, if you're smart enough, you can shop on amazon for CDs from good sellers and never spend more then $4 (shipping included!) on a cd again. And it's not just obscure forgotten or well, crap music either. You can get like, Avril cds for less then a dollar. One time, I bought a CD for a penny. A penny. And it was one of the best buys I've ever made. See? |
