Animated Version: Awesome, well worth watching. Live Action Version: Easily the worst movie I've ever seen. On a bus ride from New York. I didn't even choose to watch it, it was forced on us. If you ever see it for sale for like a dollar, buy it. Then smash it. We must do our part to destroy the movie so no one witnesses the horror again. |

Oy. Just remembered I was once forced to watch that Olsen Twin movie "New York Minute" on a bus as well. I think it may have actually been the same trip with "Cat In The Hat". Let's say it was, and call it the nightmare trip. More so then the one when someone got drunk and vomited on someone. |

hm. Actually there are a lot of movies I dislike. one that comes to mind right now as being particularly atrocious is "Eight Crazy Nights." I actually expected this movie to be good bc I thought Adam Sandler did a good job with his two Hanukkah songs (I'm Jewish so I appreciate that sort of thing) but this movie was just absolutely beyond horrible and really had little if anything to do with Hanukkah anyway.

Rob Zombie's bastardization of Halloween just shot straight up to number one. I can't believe they actually let this movie be made. Moustapha Akkad, the producer of all previous Halloween movies, wouldn't have allowed this dog turd to be made if he were still alive. Sure a lot of the sequels he made were kinda cheap, but he understood what Michael was and what made him work. He also refused to do a remake. He gets killed in Israel, and then the franchise goes to his son. The first thing he does of course is hire some talentless jack-off that the MTV people know, probalby on name value alone. Even more confusing is the Weinsteins were involved in hiring Zombie to do this as well. From what I've heard from them since, they seem to think it was a mistake. Their other friend Tarentino is also on record pretty much calling the movie fucking terrible. There's a rumor going around they made Zombie go back and change the ending so there would be no sequels becuase certain people thought it was so bad. |
