My predition; Kanye will outsell him, and "fiddy" will still not quit his solo career. Why you ask? Because 50 Cent is the world's biggest bitch. 2nd prediction: Several years from now 50 Cent will appear in the same reality show as MC Hammer. |

I never knew 50 cent and Kanye West are rivals (personal feuds), other than competitors in the rap/hip-hop genre market. I wish none of this turn bloody like the east vs. west coast rivalries of the 1990s, claimed the lives of TuPac Shakur and the B.I.G. (however, the suspects of each shooting are never found). 50 cent's music is not bad, a few of his songs I enjoy listening to. But, Kanye west's song "golddigger" is destined to go platinum (unless it already has)...and the soundtrack came from one of Ray Charles' 1950's hits: "give me money...oh I'm in need"...  (oh c'mon, everyone has to know who he is! Not just the diet pepsi commercials..."you got the right one baby uh huh").

Man, 50 Cent just beefs with EVERYONE for attention. He's a busta. I knew one kid who thought 50 was the best rapper ever. I think his knowledge of hip-hop was limited to MTV, BET. His definition of old school was probably Puff Daddy. I think he also said Kanye West sucked. Kanye's not the greatest MC, but he's got refreshing rhymes and stuff that makes him WORTH buying. One of these days, I wanna see 50 engage in a rap battle on MTV with Kool Mo Dee. Kool'd fucking kill him. |

I don't know about Biggie, but Tupac died becuase he was acting like an idiot. It really had nothing to do with his beef with Biggie. It had to do with Tupac thinking he was Superman.
Yeah, exactly. In his recent interview him and his goons said such ridiculous things as Ghostface Killah not having written Supreme Clientele (who the hell else would write lyrics like that?) and ranting on about Nas being a nerd who reads too much. I think now he is just desperately trying to start a beef with anyone. It's kinda pathetic considering Nas was nice enough to put him on tour with him when Mr. Jackson was still a charity case. Of course the only reason he got on tour with Nas was from buzz he got from a song where he dissed a bunch of random, super popular MCs. His other claim to fame of course is getting shot. Yeah, what a great talent he is. Also 50's next album will flop hard. Supposedly hip hop sales have gone into a huge slump. 50 Cent will be the first casualty of that becuase he's substanceless crap and about 99% of his record sales go to pop bandwagon riders, not hip hop heads.
Kool Moe really wouldn't need to be insulted like that. 50 is not on Busy Bee's level. He's not on anyone's level from back then. From what I've heard about his live shows, 50 can't rap longer than 2 minutes with or without the assistance of 25 hype men or he would drop dead on the stage. So yes a much older, fatter Kool Moe would probably still destroy him. |

I barely even know who "50 Cent" is, but I've heard his name mentioned every now and then... but I'm not into rap Although, the thing that sticks out about him is that the annyoing pest "Ali G" at WOOHP was like "50 Cent's biggest fanboy" or whatever....  that kind of answers that

MNMR's observation only furthers this point. 50 Cent's sole hope to sell CDs is that MTV will promote him. Smart money says they'll push Kanye as well. So Kanye's gonna have the "pop bandwagon" alongside hip-hop heads and indie snobs and what have you. |

Really 50 Cent is only famous becuase of one song, "In The Club." I'll parallel that to Hammer again who's one big song was "Can't Touch This." By two albums after that he was pretty much a non-entity. |

Seeing the reaction to this online, Kanye should be all "Thanks 50. You've just ensured that I'll outsell you." Kanye probably doesn't even need to hype his album for sales. 50's just done it for him. |

omg yay!  a thing to celebrate about xD i totally hate that guy...he's ugly, stupid, idiot...etc etc...sorry...couldn't help myself ^^; i just hate him...everytime i see him on tv i feel sick cause he forgot to wear his t-shirt ^^;;; i'm totally glad he's quitting

Can you imagine anyone won not one, but TWO grammies for lip-synching? In case some of you too young to remember, it actually happened! Oh...the group had gave back the grammies as they got disqualified. ("girl you know its' true"). The pop group Milli Vanilli, two German brothers of African descent, did just that in 1989 and made themselves a world music sensation. But over time, the news press revealed the producers taught the two to pretend they sang actual songs and as a result, the world knew Milli Vanilli faked their way to the bank. After the pop group disbanded in 1991, the two brothers failed to produce solo careers and had to reunite, but had poorly sold one album WITH THEIR REAL VOICES (pardon my caps). The last time I heard of them, one brother committed suicide in 1997(?) and the other continues to live in financial ruin. |

Basically, this is what seperates them from the other lip synchers. They never sang their own stuff. Ashlee, Britney, Lindsay and 50 perform their music on their album. Live? Well, epic dance performances and other issues stop them from doing it live ALL THE TIME. However, to the best of my knowledge, Kylie Minogue does epic performances and she's ALL live. |

Yeah, and in some cases you can tell when someone lip synchs and when they're live: for example, Natasha Bedingfield's easy to tell as being live, as she doesn't sound perfect when she sings and well, if you watch a live performance, you'll see  And Britney Spears usually sings the song "Everytime" live, which is why it sounds so different 0_o |

Why in the hell any established musical artist lip-synch in a concert filled with over 50,000 loyal fans who paid big bucks for the cheap seats to watch him/her...not perform but move their damn lips...and for what? What a rip off! I had a friend who lives not far from the Hyundai Pavillion, a concert venue hall in southern Cal. and she learned U2's performance wasn't like it's supposed to look like.  You noticed I never attended music concerts, due to my inability to handle large crowds or 500-decibel noise, plus I can't get home without driving or any REAL friends offer me a ride at middle of the night (except her, but she lives in Victorville 80 miles from me)...forget the internet for friends, download MP3s instead. |
