Read the journal, and I think it may have been a regional thing. It was in the iTunes Essentials list for Austin, so it could've been really big down there in the 80s. I found it looking for stuff for the 'GTS' project from that area (as the original idea for the project features Austin as a city/Mindy's hometown), and also needed a fresh track for the 80s playlist. And there you go. Before finding it there, can't say I heard of it either. Also, did that one Pegorino mission in the hospital the right way this time, where you get the scrubs and unplug the guy's life support. Before I just ran to the back and shotguned everything thing before booking the hell out of there. (and swearing at how you can't sprint at all indoors) Looked at the guide and it mentioned there was an entirely different, cleaner way to do it. Honestly, not as fun, but at least I wasn't dodging 4 stars like the first time. |

^..........MY GOD. Definetly the same site as in game. Gotta say though, the Miss Lacey Surprise Pageant site is one of the best ones out there. If you have a car ready and some running shoes. Been working on the playlist for the next of Mez's 'GTS' series, the one feat. that one anime character I've been raving about for the past week and a half. She knows who she is.First project since GTA4, so I've been using that as a sort of inspiration for a few stations and song picks. Got an Irish/UK station with the likes of the Young Dubliners, Billy Bragg, Black 47, and Rob Kelly; and a rock/arena rock/metal station that's so far my favorite with Boston, Queen, Chicago, Dokken, and the like. The Alternative station is shaping up for awesome randomness, with some M.O.V.E., RATM, Dragonforce, Dropkick Murphys, and Brujeria for the lulz. The world station I got going also has winning potential for 2 tracks by the Dahler fucking Mehndi. XD At least 2 stations are done, and the big roadtest will come with going down to Otakon in 2 weeks. I'll put other smatterings of the playlists up before then. 1. NEEDS MORE DIO. Don't care what, put fucking Dio on it. And if your going for total arena wuss out rock, do put Chicago's "I Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love" on it. Comes with bonus drinking game: Do a shot of whatever whenever Bill Champlin decides to do a pic bomb. Believe me, you'll be pretty fucking wasted when it's over. Also "More Than Words Can Say". 2. Faith no More, Faith No More, Faith No More. Do it. |

Don't worry. There will be FNM. 'Digging the Grave' is sitting in my cart. Mouth to Mouth has been on the original Alternative station playlist for a few months, and I have Epic after hearing it on the boardwalk in Ocean City awhile back. And of course MidLife Crisis from Radio X.
So far the only Chicago track I have is Along Comes a Woman...which has attached itself to Kallen for some reason. I'll check those other 2. Can't have Boston being the only group holding the ballads. Good call on the Dio. One way or another I'm fit 'em in. And BOC. EDIT: ...DAMN. I felt my manhood after Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love and More than Words Can Say. O_O But...there are to be Rainbows in the Dark on this playlist. I think it's pretty much finished. Will throw up sometime tommorrow along with the KINGS radio 3.0 hip-hop list.

Okay, here are the first playlists for the as yet to be renamed 'GTS2 : The Fall'. Tracks that Mez is fond of are *starred, lol. First up is the "City Rock" station, with a mix of classic rock and metal: Fight Fire With Fire - Kansas *Won't Be Coming Home (S.I.N.) - Ozzy Rainbow In the Dark - Dio (at Trilly's suggestion, lol) Just a Job to Do - Genesis Burnin' for You - Blue Öyster Cult 5:15 - The Who Amanda - Boston *Heaven's On Fire - Kiss Sole Survivor - Asia Legs - ZZ Top *Along Comes a Woman - Chicago Bad Reputation - Thin Lizzy It's Not Love - Dokken The Invisible Man - Queen Man I'll Never Be - Boston *Freewheel Burning - Judas Priest The second playlist is a third installment of modern hip-hop through 'KINGS radio'. EDIT: I've moved tracks around for the sake of flow in the style similar to GTA4's 'The BEAT'. Also tossed a track from The Game in: Push It - Rick Ross *Hero (feat. Keri Hilson) - Nas *The People - Common Turf Drop - E-40 Don't Touch Me (Throw Da Water On 'Em) - Busta Rhymes Bussin' No Discussin' - Twista Latino - Joell Ortiz It Takes a Nation - Ice Cube House of Pain - The Game *Gangster, Gangster feat. Jadakiss & Sheek Louch - Styles P Lose It (feat. Mistah F.A.B.) - Too $hort Mr. Carter - Lil Wayne & Jay-Z Stomp Thru (feat. Joell Ortiz & Rock) - Smif-N-Wessun Lord Give Me a Sign - DMX Let's Go (feat. Mista F.A.B. & Kutt Calhoun) - Tech N9NE I Got (feat. Pimp C and Project Pat) - Three 6 Mafia Managed to finish all the "stations" for this project, so the full tracklists will be up at some point. Gotta post the original lists first though. Alright, been awhile, but figured I'd stop farting around and bulk out the thread with ALL my GTA/TS playlists, heh. :P Starting from square one, here are a few from my first project from late '07, my first foray into 'real' music. Project has grown into the nickname of 'GTS', until I find a better title for a game idea involving TS in a with free roaming and real crime sort of shit, heh heh. Get a sandwich because even the previously listed 80s and hip-hop stations, there are still, like, 10 more. First is the Pop playlist, which was really forged only because TS is involved. It's been updated since December with more current songs, so I'll also list omitted tracks. Again, I'll * any tracks I particularly like: Unnamed Pop Station : Probably hosted by 'Anson Carter', T-Bone, or any of TS-World's other fake music inspired celebs, lol Available Regions: L.A., Austin, Jersey/NYC, Key West, D.C., Delmarva Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008 - Micheal Jackson feat. Akon Work That - Mary J. Blige Feedback - Janet *Everybody Dance (Tony Moran Radio mix) - Deborah Cox Criminal - Justin Nozuka Lollipop - Lil Wayne (because, let's be honest, it's the Pop station. Of course you'd hear this fucking song XD) Smile - Lily Allen *Fly Like Me (feat. Amerie) - Chingy (because it's Chingy doing what he should be doing instead of trying to pretend to be a rapper) Ain't No Other Man - Christina Aguilera We Break the Dawn - Michelle Williams What I've Done - Linkin Park (yeah, I know. Again, it's a pop station, so you have to have LP on there...) Night Drive - Chromatics Give It to Me (feat. Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado) - Timbaland Let It Go (feat. Missy Elliott & Lil 'Kim) - Keisha Cole *Dani California - Red Hot Chili Peppers Everytime We Touch - CASCADA Thnks Fr Th Mmrs - Fall Out Boy 4 Minutes (feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland) - Madonna (because I'm convinced this was forged soley to be used in Kim Possible or something...serious) Past Inclusions: Falling Down - Duran Duran *Dance, Dance - Fall Out Boy (don't know why, but I love this song) If Everyone Cared - Nickelback Apparently my jailbait 'girlfriend'/co-worker approves of most of the songs on there, so I figure that I got the result I was aiming for. Honestly, the one I just finished (my 'Kallen-inspired' mix) has more appeal to me, but that's a story for another day...Next, let's see what I picked out for the Alternative Station! Went with some suggestions from iTunes, as well as from San Andreas' Radio X. Quite a range of things: Unnamed Station : Hosted by my OC Emily Radeski :3 Out of all the New Class characters, I've spoiled her the most, heh. Available Regions: L.A., Vegas, Austin, Jersey/NYC, Delmarva Beverly Hills - Weezer Original Fire - Audioslave *Black Rain - Ozzy Osbourne Nightrain - Guns N Roses *The Better Life - 3 Doors Down Gold Lion - Yeah Yeah Yeahs (this has also become an image track for Em as well, lol) Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana Winners Take All - Quiet Riot (in here as Em's tribute to Kevin Dubrow, as this list was created not too long after his passing) Beautiful Day - U2 *Big Empty - Stone Temple Pilots (my personal hangover song, lol) Rain - The Cult Sweet Child o' Mine - Guns N Roses Sleep Now In the Fire - Rage Against the Machine *Enter Sandman - Metalica Mouth to Mouth - Faith No More Feuer frei - Rammstein *Citizen Soldier - 3 Doors Down Let's see what's next in a soon to be huge post, lol. Ah, the Funk Station, one of my personal favorites:GLiTZ 97.1 - DJed by...Boogie Gus, of course ;) Available Regions: Vegas, Austin, N.O., D.C., Delmarva Party Train - Gap Band Kool & the Gang - Kool & the Gang FUNKY ESAKA - SNK, from King of Fighters '95 I Feel for You - Chaka Khan Fresh - Kool & the Gang *T.S.O.P. (The Sound of Philadelphia) - MFSB Lady Marmalade - Patti LaBelle *Atomic Dog (live version) - George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars *Early In the Morning - Gap Band (Mez fuckin' loves the Gap Band) Evolution - Roy Ayers I'm in Love - Evelyn "Champagne" King Shining Star - Earth, Wind & Fire Who'd She Coo? - Ohio Players *North, East, South, West - Kool & the Gang (driving into Baltimore at 6 am with this on was the coolest part of Katsucon, most def) I Want'a Do Something Freaky to You - Leon Haywood Orleans & Claiborne - Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews & Orleans Avenue Slippery When Wet - The Commodores Lemme post these for now and I'll be back to rattle off the rest. :P Edited by Mezoroth, Aug 30 2008, 09:47 PM.

Part 2 of the revealing of GTS's massive playlist. Feeling irie right now, so why don't we going into the Dub playlist? This 'station' was purely inspired by GTA3's KJAH station, so much love to the Scientist, King Tubby, etc. Again, * means I have mad love for the track: Unnamed Dub Station Available Regions: L.A., Vegas, N.O., Key West *Rude Boy - Lee Perry & Prince Jammy *Red Shift - Scientist *Jah Love Rockers Dub - King Tubby Scientist's Earth Dub - Scientist Roots Radics' Summer Dub - The Roots Radics *King Tubby's Earthquake Dub - King Tubby Scientist's Thunder Dub - Scientist (the last 4 are all from the same CD, which apperently cost 2 bucks on iTunes. With 15 or so tracks, it was quite a steal) Grumblin' Dub - The Upsetters *Cannabis Dub - Scientist & The Roots Radics The Champion Version - King Tubby (how many times did this pop up on shuffle when I'd be posting in the What You Listening To thread? XD) Black Hole - Scientist & Culture Boof n' Baff n' Biff - Black Uhuru Beyond the Realms of Dub - Mad Professor Guided Missiles - Scientist (from 'Dub 9-11', which is probably the best idea of anything EVER) Puffed Out - Black Uhuru Love You Dub - Scientist Holokoko Dub - Mad Professor *Beam Me Up Daddy - Scientist & Culture I've heard this list is awesome when dabbling into 'The Finer Things'. I've heard. You know, from a friend. Really. Keeping in the Carribean, next up is a joint Reggae/Reggaeton list. Formerly had Cuban salsa mixed in as well, but I recently expanded that into it's own station: Unnamed Reggae(ton) Station Available Regions: Austin, N.O., Jersey/NYC, Key West, D.C. *Zum Zum - Bunji Garlin (thank you, GTA4, for the introduction to this man, lol :D) Me Arrepiento - Lennox & Zion Wanna Be Loved - Buju Banton *Too Experienced - Barrington Levy (thank you, San Andreas, for the introduction to this man, heh) Sunshine - Jah Cure *Bien Sudao' - Tony Dize *Love the Life You Live - Midnite Champion - Buju Banton Preparate - Lennox & Zion *Ghetto People Song - Everton Blender Siguelo - Wisin & Yandel Inna Love - Chezidek El Lobo - Alexis y Fido Brutal - Black Uhuru Fuego, Fuego - Andy Boy Never Grow Old - Toots & The Maytals Apretaíto (Version Reggaton) - Azul Azul *Feelin' the Same - Clinton Fearon Last (for this post, lol) is the Latin station that branched from the former listed. Largely consists of music from Cuba, Mexico, and Brazil: Verano FM Availabile Regions: L.A., Vegas, Austin, Key West, D.C. Si Corazón - Los Zafiros Papo Cabeca - Chico César Mami te Gustò - Afro Cuban All Stars Rie y Llora - Celia Cruz Las Mañanitas - Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan *Descarga de Hoy - ¡Cubanismo! Ella Menea - NG2 Luz - Patato Bidi Bidi Bom Bom - Selena *Soul Sauce (Guachi Guara) - Cal Tjader Ojalá Que Te Mueras - Pesado Descarga Total - Maraca Aquarela Do Brasil - Gal Costa Puerto Rico - Antonio Hart *La Vida Es un Carnaval (Live) - Celia Cruz *Oye - Gloria Estefan Amor a la Mexicana - Thalia *Summer Samba - Walter Wanderley Ahhh...back hurts now, lol. Only 3 more lists for one's GTA experience: the classic/driving rock, the jazz, and the 90s list. And then all the shit from the follow-up project....then the stuff I just capped this month. Damn, I've put as much thought into this as I have the traditional Mezoroth TS projects, hah hah.
