Written By Agent Oddball © 2008 Chapter 1… Nola was shopping one day down at The Groove with her mothers Mandy and Sam. “Hey look at those shoes!” said Nola with a sparkle in her eye, “If only I had two lovely parents that would buy the shoes for me.” “Darling please don’t make us buy these expensive things for you, by the end of the week we’ll be living on the streets at the rate your shopping,” said Sam try to talk he out of her shopping addictions. “Anyway we though you hated fashion,” added Mandy. “Yes, but my friends have been saying I’m not acting enough like a girl,” replied Nola sadly. “Ignore them then, its you, no one can change it,” said Sam rubbing her back. “Yes, its your life, they don’t make your choices, or looks for that matter,” said Mandy handing over a tissue. “You must alert us on this sort of stuff Nola, or we can never help you out,” added Sam trying to cheer her up. “Thanks, you know what I might go home, I suddenly don’t feel so good,” said Nola whipping away her tears with the tissue. “All right but be careful, a lot of crimes have been happening around our place,” said Mandy as Nola walked off. Chapter 2… Once Nola had got home she sat down and thought about her life. But suddenly the chair she was sitting one disappeared and she fell straight through the ground and went through a tunnel to her secret spy organization WOOHP (World Organization Of Human Protection). Once she landed on a mat at the end of the tunnel at WOOHP her boss Toby assisted her on her mission. “Hello Nola, you’re looking a little sad today,” said Toby in surprise. “Long story,” said Nola “Anyway what’s the mission?” “People have been getting evil doubles of themselves randomly,” replied Toby in a serious voice. “We believe someone has been putting a chemical in peoples food which makes him or her get a evil double,” he added. “I better get on the case then,” replied Nola. “Just two more things, have you got your favorite gadgets?” he asked. “Yep,” replied Nola. “And the second thing is that you’ll be sent to Sans Francisco, we believe the chemical is made there,” said Toby. “Also you’ll fly in WOOHP’s new jet made especially at your spying grade, bye,” finished off Toby. Nola fell through another tunnel and found she was sitting in a leather seat and already flying to Sans Francisco on autopilot. Chapter 3… Once she reached Sans Francisco she pressed a button and the jet suddenly turned into a boat. She drove the boat to the edge of the sea and tied it up onto two poles in a neat knot. “Now where do I start?” she asked herself. She looked around and saw some toxic waste flooding through a broken pipe coming out of an old warehouse. She flew in the air next to Bay Bridge by using her Jetpack Backpack. She reached the other side just before the gas in the Jetpack Backpack ran out. Luckily on of the windows on the warehouse was open and just big enough to fly through. There was a high pile of boxes that the workers couldn’t see all the way up so she sat at the top. She looked down and saw some toxic pink chemical going to ice cream. “Hmmm…. I wonder what that pink stuff is,” she said as she flew down when the all the evil henchmen had walked out of the room. She took a pinch of the pink chemical and scanned it on her XXX-Powder 3000’s mini-lab. She waited a minute for it to finish scanning and then the results came up. “So this chemical is called Multipersonation, and it doubles the object that swallowed it, but the double is evil,” she whispered to herself. She heard footsteps coming to the door so she jumped back onto the pile of boxes. But when she reached the top she noticed she’d broke one of the bottles the chemical was in and it was already spreading across the floor. She would’ve jumped down and fix it but it was to late the henchmen had come back in. “HEY!!! SOMEONE HAS BROKEN IN!” a henchman shouted out pressing the alarm button, which made a loud siren go off. It was time for Nola to escape but it was to late all the windows shout by themselves and breaking them open would set off an even louder alarm so the henchmen would know where their imposter is. Chapter 4… Nola stayed on the boxes and thought of an escape plan. “I know,” she said in her head. She jumped down behind the boxes and with just one kick they all tumbled down on top of the henchmen. This was Nola’s chance to run out of the warehouse. So she ran out and hid behind a building near by. She opened her XXX-Powder 3000, which is disguised as a hand held make-up kit and contacted Toby. “Ya called me,” said Toby. “Damn that was close, anyway the chemical used to make people double is called Multipersonation, I’m sending you a sample now,” said Nola puffing. “Alright, I’ll take a few extra scans,” replied Toby. “Bye then,” said Nola hanging up. Chapter 5… Straight after she’d hung up on Toby she looked up and there were henchmen standing around her. She jumped up on her feet. “Bring it on,” said one of the henchmen acting like this job would be easy. “You know I’m a black belt in Kung WOOHP. “Ahh! Kung WOOHP I’m so scared,” said another henchmen acting like he can take out Nola in a second. “You asked for it,” said Nola jumping up in the air and kicking one of the henchmen in the head. “OUCH!!!” he yelled making a dog in a near by house bark. Another henchmen jumped to grab Nola but she ducked which made him grab another henchman and make him crash his head into the wall. She was getting bored of beating up the henchmen so she pulled out her WOOHP Issue Photon Blaster, which stunned them all which was the perfect opportunity to run but she couldn’t help herself so she pulled down their pants so by the time they wake up everyone will be laughing at them. So she did that and then ran off. As she ran she said to herself “Another job done well Nola.” Chapter 6… The next day Nola woke up at 7:00 AM sharp. Birds were chirping, the sun was shining, no clouds, it looked like today would be perfect. She got up and went to the kitchen, her mother Mandy was up making breakfast while Sam was still fast asleep. “Good morning mom,” said Nola to Mandy. “You too, I’m making breakfast in bed for Sam,” “Help yourself to any food for breakfast we need to empty the fridge and cupboard so eating the stuff is the best way,” said Mandy taking Sam’s breakfast into their room. “Alright,” said Nola searching through the cupboard. She was looking for her favorite food for breakfast ‘Choc Flakes’. “Yes we got them,” she said quietly to herself taking them out of the cupboard. She put them in a bowl and poured in milk and grabbed a spoon and sat at the table and ate. But suddenly a hole appeared in the ground and once again the chair disappeared and she went for a ride in a tunnel to WOOHP. Chapter 7… “Alright what is up with the chair disappearing act Toby,” she said once she’d landed at the end of the tunnel. “Sorry no time to talk, its an emergency,” “That ice cream with the chemicals in it is getting driven in a big truck to a supermarket called ‘Foodarama’ to go in the shelves for sale, you must get the truck back to WOOHP before it reaches the supermarket,” “You’ll drive one of WOOHP’s new motorcycles to catch up with the truck,” finished off Toby. He pressed a button and she fell through another tunnel and landed on the new WOOHP motorcycle. She drove off to find the truck right away. Chapter 8… After 5 minutes of driving she found the truck driving down the highway to ‘Foodaramas’ warehouse where they keep their food before it gets taken to their shops all over globe. She reached while driving with her right hand into her Jetpack Backpack to try and find some fancy gadget that will use a laser to cut stuff. And then she felt a lipstick laser; she pulled it out and used it to cut the door on the back of the truck. It came off and went flying over her head and hit a car, which made Nola say “Opps… My bad.” She pressed a button located on her handlebars, which made the motorcycle hover just high enough for her to hover it into the back of the truck so that’s exactly what she did. There was a window, which allowed the driver to see in the back of the truck. Nola climbed through it and used her WOOHP Issue Photon Blaster to stun the driver. She quickly put him in the passengers seat and turned the truck around. When she was halfway back to WOOHP the truck driver woke and screamed. “Calm down,” “I took control of the truck because the ice cream that is in the back has a chemical which makes people get a double, but an evil double,” said Nola trying to calm him down. “Alright, just tell me when this is all over, its freaking me out,” said the truck driver trying to relax. Once they’d reached WOOHP Toby was waiting outside for them. Nola jumped out of the truck with the truck driver. She whispered in a WOOHP Agents ear “I think you’d better erase this guys memory of what just happened. So the WOOHP Agent took him into WOOHP, while out side Toby said, “Great work Nola, were going to dispose of this ice cream right away. Suddenly there was this beeping nice coming from Toby’s pocket, he pulled out this gadget and read what it said to Nola. “There seems to be a disturbance down at The Groove involving some ice cream, I suggest you get there right away,” said Toby. “Use this nice shiny, green WOOHP car to get there fast,” said Toby as a WOOHP Agent drove it out of the WOOHP garage. So she hopped in and drove off. Chapter 9… She sped down to The Groove in her ultra cool Spy Car. Once she had reached The Groove she jumped out of the car and ran to the end of The Groove where the bad guy was. She hid around a corner once she found him to work out plan. The only plan she could actually think of was beating him up so she ran out where he could see her. “Who are you and why do you want evil doubles of people?” she shouted at him. “I’m Dom West and I’m making evil doubles of people so they work for me and will help take over the world,” Dom said in an evil voice. “Well I’m gonna have to put a stop to that, Dom,” she shouted as she jumped in the air aiming to kick at Dom but someone’s evil double stopped her attack with on hand. The evil double had good grip of her foot so she jumped and flipped which made the evil double let go. “I got some competition,” she said looking around noticing they had surrounded her. “Looks like I need backup,” she said in her head. So she jumped on a roof and contacted Toby on her XXX-Powder 3000 and asked for backup. She waited on the roof until her backup came. After 2 minutes she saw a bunch of WOOHP Agents and Toby walking down to where Dom was. She jumped off the roof to them. “I’ve got a chemical that shall make the evil doubles of people disappear,” Toby said. “How do we give it to them though?” Nola asked confused. “Simple,” “I put it in your Sonic Artillery Range Synthesizer (SARS) so when you use the emit waves on them the chemical will come out with the wave,” he said making it sound so simple. So Nola pulled out her SARS and used it’s emit waves, which had the chemical in it. “Yes it’s working, they’re all disappearing!” Nola yelled in joy. But she then noticed Dom was running away. “Toby you do this, I’m going to get Dom,” she said running off. So Toby took over while she ran off to catch Dom. After ten minutes she came back to Toby with Dom’s hands cuffed. “Lock him up,” she said pushing him to one of the WOOHP Agents. “Good work Nola you may go home now,” said Toby. So Nola drove home in her cool spy car. Chapter 10… “Another job well done Nola,” she said to herself as she got into bed. Sam and Mandy walked into her room “Good night Nola,” they said at the same time and walked out of her room and into their room to go to bed. Nola then turned off the lights in her room then went to sleep straight away. Chapter 11… Nola woke up in the morning with an “AHHHHH!!!!” because she noticed she was sitting in Toby’s office. “Not the way I was hoping you’d wake up,” said Toby half asleep. “What do you want?” Nola asked. “We got bad news” “Dom has escaped,” said Toby sadly. “But how? I thought he was locked up good,” she yelled. “A man came to visit him yesterday and that man must’ve given Dom a laser to cut though the bars on the window,” “We nearly caught him when he escaped but he was to good,” said Toby feeling bad. “So you want me to capture him again?” said Nola. “Yes, but here is a tracking device, one of the WOOHP Agents managed to get a tracker on him,” added Toby. “At least that’ll help a bit,” she said. “Good luck,” waved Toby and he pressed a button so she went through a tunnel and landed in her cool, shiny green spy car. She drove off following where the red dot was on the tracking device. Chapter 12… Nola was having trouble finding him since he was moving so fast but she didn’t give up. After half an hour he had stopped at an old house, which looked like it hadn’t even been touched in years. She pulled up at the front of the house got out of the car. She tried to open the door but it was all rusty so she kicked the door in. “Its quite, too quite,” she said to herself. Somebody’s evil double was standing behind her getting ready to attack. But she knew it was there thanks to her spy instincts so she suddenly jumped in the air, did a flip and kicked the evil double right in the back and it went flying into the wall. She suddenly heard an old lady shouting, “Help!” Nola turned around to run to the old lady but Nola was once again surrounded by evil doubles. So Nola pulled out her SARS and once again used the emit wave mixed with the chemical to defeat the evil doubles. Once they had all disappeared Nola ran to the old lady. Chapter 13… Once Nola had reached the old lady she saw the old lady was tied up in some really tight knots so Nola undid them all. “Are you alright?” asked Nola. “I am now thanks to you,” said the old lady getting up and dusting the dust off her dress. “That’s good, come with me I’ll take you to safety,” said Nola kindly. “Alright, just wait a minute, I’ve got to go get my handbag,” said the old lady walking off. While the old lady walked off Nola looked at some of the photos that were up around the room. Nola quite admired the photo, which had the sunset behind the ocean; she thought it was very nice piece of art. The old lady was back and snuck up behind Nola and pressed a button on her watch and she suddenly turned into Dom. But Nola didn’t know he was behind her so he threw a punch at her and she fell on the floor and she didn’t get up because she was unconsciousness. Chapter 14… A couple hours later Nola woke up feeling dizzy. She didn’t know where she was but the person who knocked her out put her there. Suddenly the door swung open and a mysterious man wearing black came in. “You stupid girl, how could you think you could beat me?” said the mysterious man. “Alright! I’m sick off this mysterious stuff who are you?” yelled Nola. The mysterious man took off his hooded jacket. “DOM!!!” shouted Nola. “That my name, don’t wear it out,” he said back. “Now I got to have a meeting with the evil doubles, when I get back I inspect to see you lying on the floor DEAD!” He said with a shout on the last word. He walked out and slammed the door shut behind him. Chapter 15… Nola laid on the floor struggling to untie the tight knots Dom had tied, as she was unconsciousness. She kept lying there and then she noticed there was a blade off a Stanley Knife lying on the floor. She wiggled her way across the floor to the Stanley Knife blade. She first cut the rope that was around her wrist so she could use her hands to untie the ropes around her feet and legs. Once she had untied all the ropes she jumped on her feet. “Its time to blow this scene,” she said running away. Chapter 16… Nola ran to a near by shady tree and sat down under it. She was so tired and couldn’t go on anymore. “What am I doing? I can’t give up like this,” said Nola trying to get up. “I know,” “Maybe he still has his tracker,” said Nola pulling out her tracking device. He still had it on but it wasn’t moving, but Nola still went to check it out. She walked to where the red dot was flashing. It was in that old house she got captured in. She went in even though she didn’t want. She found his jacket on a bed in a room, to bad he wasn’t in the room in his bed asleep, that would have been a perfect opportunity to capture him. She searched the room and she found a note on his desk. It said ‘Evil Doubles Meeting At 66 Joanna Rd, Beverly Hills’. “Looks like I won’t be needing a tracking device after all” Nola said happily because now she didn’t need to follow a small red dot on a tiny screen. She ran outside to the car because it got left there when Dom caught her. She jumped in and drove to 66 Joanna Road, Beverly Hills just as it said on the note. Chapter 17… She rang Toby on her XXX-Powder 3000 while she was driving. “Toby get me some backup, we got a good chance of getting him, make sure the backup team go to 66 Joanna Road, Beverly Hills,” said Nola very seriously. “I’m going there with them as we speak,” “Bye,” said Toby. Nola arrived there before them. She walked the house and kicked the door open. “Bring it,” she said getting ready to fight. “How you beat us with out an army,” said Dom acting cool. “I already got one,” said Nola walking in with a bunch of WOOHP Agents and Toby behind her. “Agent take out your SARS,” yelled Toby. Every agent took out their SARS and used the emit chemical waves. “Why aren’t they disappearing?” she said in surprise. “I improved my evil doubles, your weird SARS things won’t work on,” laughed Toby in an evil voice. “Agents you fight these evil doubles, I’ll take on Dom, Toby us my XXX-Powder 3000’s mini lab to work out what we need to do to defeat these stupid evil doubles,” said Nola mad. They all did what they were told to do. Nola and Dom was a good fighting match, they could go on forever, same with the WOOHP Agents and evil doubles. Chapter 18… After 20 minutes Toby worked it out. “Nola use your WOOHP Issue Photon Blaster to stun them then use your SARS to use the emit waves and then use the WOOHP Issue Photon Blaster again but to kill them,” yelled Toby. So Nola did exactly that. They all fell to the ground and faded away. “Nola quickly use your WOOHP Issue Photon Blaster to tickle Dom, once you have we’ll pounce on him,” shouted a WOOHP Agent. So Nola used the WOOHP Issue Photon Blaster again but this time to tickle and then every WOOHP Agent jumped on him. “I think we got him,” giggled Toby. All the WOOHP Agents then got up while Toby cuffed his hands. “Now make sure he doesn’t escape this time Toby,” said Nola in joy. “We sure will,” said Toby sure he wont escape again. “You did well Nola you can go home now Nola,” said Toby waving goodbye. Chapter 19… That night Nola fell asleep right away. She couldn’t help she’d tackled another big mission and which was completed. Sam & Mandy came into her room to say good night but she was already asleep so they tiptoed off. Bonus Chapter… The next day she went through her normal morning routine. Luckily it was the weekend so no school and hopefully on spying. She sat and watched some TV but there were just morning news shows on so she turned off the TV and walked to the computer and logged onto TSUG.net and found that Toby was on and was telling everyone about Nola’s mission. When Nola went in the shoutbox and said “Hi” and everybody couldn’t help but keep asking about her mission and discussing it. Nola felt so special and popular that she couldn’t help but stay on TSUG (Totally Spies Underground). After that the admin (J-Syxx) decided to make her mascot of the forum and he got LauraD to draw pictures of her to show off on the forum. After that Nola became so popular on TSUG.net her PM box was getting full in one day. That’s when Nola had to give out her email so her PM box wouldn’t get full. Soon Nola was so popular TSUG was making products and toys based on her. Nola is so popular it was nearly scary but it made Nola feel special to know people actually care about her. And that’s what mattered most to her. The End Author Comments... I’m very happy with how my fanfic of Nola from TSUG turned out. It took me 3 days because I spent most of those 3 days on it. I tried to use as much imagination in it as I could in. I wrote this fanfic especially for the TSUG Nola Fanfic Contest. I’ve got my fingers crossed I’ll win, but I never win fanfic contests. Anyway I’ll stop now because I’ll just keep talking as usual. PS: San Fransico is spelled w/ out an s after San and if you want a pointer, you should separate speakers by paragraphing.. when one person speaks they should have a line to themselves... then switch to another character speaking by making a new "paragraph" ie: Nola was shopping one day down at The Groove with her mothers Mandy and Sam. “Hey look at those shoes!” said Nola with a sparkle in her eye, “If only I had two lovely parents that would buy the shoes for me.” “Darling please don’t make us buy these expensive things for you, by the end of the week we’ll be living on the streets at the rate your shopping,” said Sam try to talk he out of her shopping addictions. “Anyway we though you hated fashion,” added Mandy. “Yes, but my friends have been saying I’m not acting enough like a girl,” replied Nola sadly.

Like I've said I'm always worried about grammer. Stupid Microsoft Word pick nothing. Never trust word to be the end all grammer check. There have been several times when word told me I was wrong, but they gave me really bad ideas for corrections that when I said them out loud, decided not to change them. I'd switch said and the character in one of those, because it bugs me to keep reading something that never changes the flow of words, unless it's a work of poetry. Minor pet peeve. There's nothing grammatically wrong with it, but it can be tedious to keep reading "blah blah blah" said Doug, "blah blah blah" said Keith etc.
	Who is driving? Oh my god bear is driving how can that be?! Trilly's Blog. Free music sometimes. I have no fun comments now.

You could also throw in soem adverbs... carefully questioned... quickly responded... etc.

Sometimes it's just good not to use said at all, and use another method to make it obvious which character is speaking. Over all, I think the important thing is that it flows naturally when you read it. I'll probably read this fic tommorow I think. I didn't get around to it yet, partly becuase I'm writing my own fic chapter right now.
